Martha Hayden took part in the "Fields Project" a residency on farms near Oregon, Illinois, June 16 to 24.

Martha Hayden  painted in Brittany, France ,May, 2006, and 2004 as a Chateau Klots Resident, courtesy of the Alfred and Trafford Klots Residency Program (Maryland College of Art, Institute of Design) at Rochefort en Terre, France.

Martha Hayden had a residency at I-Park Artists Enclave, East Haddem, CT. during August, 2005

Martha Hayden's etching, "View South - Rooftops" was purchased by the Amity Art Foundation of Woodbridge, CT, May 2004

An etching,  "The High Point" was purchased by William Patterson University, Wayne, NJ, from the exhibition Contemporary American Printmaking, March 2005.

"The High Point" also won first Prize at the 24th Annual National Print Exhibition, Art Link, Ft. Wayne, IN, in May, 2005

"F Train at Smith and Ninth," etching and acquatint, won a Juror's Award at "Small Works," Western New York Artists Group, Buffalo, NY, October, 2005

Martha Hayden received a grant from the Joyce Dutka Foundation, April 2005, for her work in gouache.

 

FAIRS

Martha Hayden will have a residency at Cill Rialaig, Ballinskelligs, Co. Kerry, Ireland in April, 2008, and a residency at Europo Parkas, Vilnius, Lithuania in June 2008. She will paint in Moncontour, Brittany in May
